Well, 2018 has started out better than I could have hoped. I completed filming the web series I mentioned in my last post, written and directed by Claire Torn. It was a fun-filled shoot with old friends and new and I can’t wait to see it all together!
I also assisted my talented friends Daniel & Stephanie again with their staged reading of “Ancient History” by David Ives. However, this time we brought it to NYC at The Cell. It was a night of laughs…and some tears…and a big success. I couldn’t be happier for them!
Interspersed between these projects, I resumed class at The Freeman Studio with Alex Neil, and I took a 2-day Shakespeare intensive with the absolutely brilliant, one-of-a-kind, Rob Clare. He flew in to NYC from LA for just a couple of days, and I was one of the lucky few to spend the weekend working with and learning from this Shakespeare genius.
The talented Claire Torn has written a hilarious 6-part web-series, and I will be in Episode #3! We’ve begun rehearsing already, and will film it at the end of December. Can’t wait!
“Ancient History” at Guild Hall
Earlier this month I had the wonderful opportunity to assist my dear friends, Daniel Schwait & Stephanie Linas, with their staged reading of “Ancient History” by David Ives, directed by Alex Neil, at Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY. The one-night only event was part of the JDT Lab series at the theater. Fantastic performances, beautiful theater, lovely staff, and supportive audience! Plus, spending a couple of days out East wasn’t too bad either!
A performance will also take place in NYC in January 2018–TBA.

I wanted to share with you one of the things I was doing while I was away!
PS-I had so much fun filming this & it really made me want to get an Apple Watch…and OmniBolt. Just saying.

September always brings with it the excitement of change, and this year is no different. With ADR completed for an indie feature, I’m back in class at The Freeman Studio, learning from the unparalleled Alex Neil and my talented classmates. Looking forward to what this next quarter of the year has in store!
Film Work & Happy New Year!
Looking back on the last couple of months, it’s been a blur, but in a good way! I collaborated with a dear friend on a meaningful short film, and wrapped initial filming of the indie feature that began back in April. Some additional filming will be scheduled for early 2017, and I cannot wait to see how it all comes together. I’ve continued studying at The Freeman Studio under Alex Neil where the work and dedication of my classmates is truly inspiring. Looking forward to the new year and new opportunities!
It’s crazy to think that we are almost a third of the way through 2016, but this year has been a good one so far! I’ve continued my studies with Alex Neil at The Freeman Studio, and have begun accent class with Amanda Quaid at HB Studio learning the Cockney dialect. Also, filming has commenced on the feature I was cast in back in January and will continue into May. A cool new development in the project though–we are shooting on 16mm film. It’s a new experience for me, but I’m really excited to see how it all works out. Busy busy, but all good things!
Happy to announce I’ve been cast in a leading role in a feature film!! I can’t wait to begin working on this project (with such a talented team as well). Shooting will begin in March in NYC and Boston.
Good things in 2016!
Starting the new year off right! Back at The Freeman Studio for class with Alexandra Neil beginning this January. Super excited to be back working with such talented actors.
